Barack Obama, WOW!!!

I never thought I would even see this day even with still being a fairly young person. My parents and grandparents never thought they would see this day. My uncles, aunts, friends and their family's thought they would never see this day. Look how far our nation has come!!


One day our children will ask, "What were you doing when the 1st African-American president was elected?"

Zoo

It's amazing how I live in Saint Louis but rarely visit the attractions. I haven't been to the zoo in a couple of years and decided to go this week. My brother (also my assistant) and I went twice and still were unable to walk through the entire zoo.

Photo Drive?

I keep reading about photo walks and would like to take one very soon. I tried to take a photo walk in downtown Saint Louis and realized that it's just too big to walk. So I turned it into a photo drive and drove around downtown in my car. I got out to walk around in areas that I thought were interesting.

I didn't know my city was so busy all of the time.

Who knew it was that hard to photograph the whole Arch in one picture?

This one was really interesting. There's a graffiti wall behind the Arch were many talented artist show their work.

Randomness

One of my friends, Bliss, has a barrage of random videos on facebook that are just hilarious. With his permission, hopefully I'll be able to put one up. By the way, this is Bliss.

For now, he has inspired me to go back and try to find random photos of family and friends. They are no where near as funny as his videos though.
I'm starting with one my brother found. He was going to throw it away but showed it to our mom first. This goofiness is after a trip to Dave and Buster's. So here it is:

Botanical Gardens

Went to take pictures with a friend a couple of weeks ago. I feel bad for saying but that was my first time going to Botanical Gardens and I've lived in Saint Louis forever.
The picture under the header is my favorite one from that day. Problem is now I have to find out the name of the flower. Right now I just named it "White".
Had a ton of fun too. My first time taking pictures with another photographer.
